Description
The City of Fort Lupton is seeking qualifications from planners and planning firms to provide on-call or as-needed municipal planning services. The anticipated work includes development and land use project review, technical plan checking, map and site-history review, preparation of technical comments, staff reports, and recommendations, interpretation of the City Municipal Code, and support for City planning staff. The selected consultant will primarily support staff with development review, reports, and recommendations rather than regularly presenting directly to elected or appointed bodies. The workload and number of assignments are variable and depend on future land-use case submittals and project complexity. Services will primarily be performed remotely, with occasional in-person meetings at Fort Lupton City Hall; meetings may otherwise be attended remotely as directed. The City expects an initial two-year contract, although renewal or extension options have not been determined. Responses must address firm qualifications, Colorado municipal planning experience, personnel and resumes, rates and reimbursable expenses, conflicts of interest, and relevant municipal clients and references. A signed Request for Qualifications Authorization Form is required, and the proposal is limited to 25 single-sided pages, including covers and resumes.
