Description
The City of Westminster is soliciting proposals for on-call street light maintenance, repair, emergency response, and extra work on a time-and-materials basis. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, machinery, tools, equipment, and materials for work including LED fixture, lamp, driver, fuse, pole, underground wiring, conduit, meter pedestal, circuit breaker, pull-box, voltage, and current repairs; new street light installations; pole painting; lighting modifications; and related electrical engineering services. Routine requests require response within five business days, while emergency repairs must receive a response within one hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The work includes reporting and monitoring, annual inspections, traffic-control coordination, and compliance with Colorado Department of Transportation permitting and traffic-control processes. Colorado-certified journeyman and master electricians are required. Proposals must include fee-schedule pricing, an approach to the scope and reporting systems, warranties, relevant Colorado experience and three recent references, licenses and certifications, insurance proof, and a subcontractor list. The initial term is one year with four one-year renewal options.
