Description
The City of Arvada is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed general contractors for a full interior renovation of an existing commercial building operated by Ralston House, a nonprofit child advocacy center. The work includes project management, demolition, construction, finishes, site safety, scheduling, permits, inspections, and coordination with the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities having jurisdiction. The scope includes architectural renovations and associated concrete, masonry, carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, furnishings, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and life-safety work. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, construction scheduling, quality control, recycling and reuse planning, closeout documentation, warranties, testing, commissioning, and final cleaning. A proposed project team, critical-path construction schedule, recycle and reuse plan, references, bid proposal, bid summary, required contractor submittal form, and bid bond must be submitted. Performance and payment bonds and insurance are required after award.
