Description
The Borough of Conshohocken is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to prepare an updated 10-year Comprehensive Plan. The selected consultant will lead planning work addressing land use, housing, transportation and movement of people and goods, community facilities and utilities, environmental and socioeconomic considerations, implementation strategies, and protection of natural and historic resources, consistent with Article III of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The consultant will work with the Borough Council, Borough Manager, staff, Planning Commission, and Comprehensive Plan Task Force; attend required staff, Council, Planning Commission, and Task Force meetings; support public and community engagement; prepare agendas and meeting minutes for Task Force meetings; and provide periodic reports. Proposals must include the firm's qualifications and comparable municipal experience, project approach, fee schedule with a not-to-exceed cost, proposed personnel and resumes, subcontractor information, and at least five references from Pennsylvania municipal clients for comparable Comprehensive Plan work performed within the last five or ten years. Insurance information and certificates covering general and professional liability are also required.
