Description
Adams County Community Safety & Well-Being, through its Poverty Reduction Unit, seeks a qualified nonprofit organization to operate the Mobile Home Initiative. The selected vendor will provide legal advice, counseling, technical assistance, referrals, eviction-prevention support, and assistance involving mobile-home park rules, habitability, retaliation, resident purchase opportunities, and applicable mobile-home housing laws. The scope also includes bilingual or interpreted resident education and outreach, Know Your Rights trainings, educational materials, resident-council development and coaching, community meetings, strategic advocacy, mobile-home park preservation assistance, coordination with public and nonprofit partners, documentation, reporting, and program administration. Services will be performed primarily in mobile-home parks and community locations, with remote or office-based work permitted for appropriate functions. The initial term is one year with four one-year renewal options, and the approximate annual budget is $100,000.
