Description
The City of St. Louis, acting through its Community Development Administration, is offering up to $607,000 in economic development sales tax funding for a few large-scale projects that implement neighborhood plans adopted by the City Planning Commission since 2018. Anticipated awards generally range from $200,000 to $500,000, although applications outside that range are permitted. Eligible applicants include neighborhood associations, nonprofit organizations, community development corporations, developers partnered with an eligible nonprofit or neighborhood association, and teams of eligible organizations. Proposals must describe specific improvements, programs, services, developments, or other actions tied to an eligible neighborhood plan and must explain how the award will leverage additional public or private funding. The agency anticipates at least a one-to-one match. Funding may not be used for housing development or rehabilitation, and street-related improvements are excluded except for sidewalks. Applicants must demonstrate organizational capacity, relevant certifications and licenses, grant administration experience, financial and records-management systems, insurance and financial stability, and compliance with applicable laws and funding requirements. Applications and attachments must be submitted through the EgRAMS online portal by 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time on November 16, 2026.
