Description
The City of Westminster is inviting pre-qualified contractors selected under RFQ-PWU-26-659 to submit bids for a combined construction project. Volume 1 includes approximately 7,900 linear feet of 24-inch PVC transmission waterline, approximately 2,750 linear feet of distribution waterlines ranging from 6 to 18 inches, temporary water service, waterline disinfection and commissioning, Lowell Boulevard mill and overlay, reconstruction of the 92nd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard traffic signal, a 120-foot trenchless crossing beneath 92nd Avenue, approximately 90 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, waterline and sewer abandonment, and sanitary sewer bypass pumping. Volume 2 includes approximately 1,200 linear feet of 21-inch PVC sanitary sewer, 10 manholes with SpectraShield lining, abandonment of approximately 2,200 linear feet of existing sewer, utility potholing, three trenchless casing-and-carrier installations beneath 80th Avenue, Sunset Park, and the BNSF right-of-way/Wolff Run Park, dewatering, bypass pumping, asphalt and concrete restoration, and softscape restoration. The estimated duration is 18 months, with completion required by August 2028. A 5% bid bond is required with the proposal; 100% performance and payment bonds are required after award.
