Description
The City of Coconut Creek is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, and licensed general contractors for structural hardening and renovation of the Fleet Building at the Public Works facility. The scope includes selective demolition; replacement of the standing-seam aluminum roof, gutters, downspouts, overhead doors, hollow-metal doors, windows, and louvers; structural modifications; interior renovations; new stairs, railings, casework, shelving, flooring, ceilings, LED lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, automatic transfer switch, lightning protection, CCTV conduit, and wet-floodproofing measures to elevation 13.5 NAVD. The facility must remain operational during construction, requiring phasing, temporary barriers, coordination with City staff, and protection of occupied areas. The solicitation also includes an optional photovoltaic add alternate for a new 630-panel rooftop solar system with a stated 124.89 kW DC system size, Hanwha Qcells Q.PEAK 345 modules, and a SolarEdge SE100KUS inverter. The bid package includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, demolition, and miscellaneous-specialty documents, as well as seven addenda. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, qualifications, references, licenses, insurance documentation, bid security, and other certifications through the City's eBid System as one electronic response file.
