Description
Broward County is soliciting an open-end, indefinite-quantity construction contract to repair and rehabilitate sewer lift stations and related appurtenances for Water and Wastewater Services and other County agencies. Work may include temporary bypass pumping and piping, wet well repair and coatings, concrete and structural repairs, excavation and restoration, piping and valve installation, pump and control-panel work, electrical service and conduit installation, odor-control equipment, site work, traffic control, and preparation of signed and sealed as-built drawings. The initial contract term is three years, with two additional one-year renewal options. The solicitation includes a 25% County Business Enterprise participation goal, requires a Florida or Broward County contractor license, requires a bid bond or alternate bid security equal to 5% of the total bid price, and requires at least 50% self-performance of the total contract price. Responses must be submitted electronically through the County's designated bidding system.
