Description
Palm Beach County is soliciting bids for a term contract covering the purchase and delivery of new, unused Ford Original Equipment Manufacturer parts for automobiles, light trucks, and medium trucks. The contract will operate on an as-needed basis, with bidders offering a single fixed percentage discount or markup from a current Ford price list. Separate shipping charges are not permitted, and delivery is to be made anywhere within Palm Beach County, including the Glades Area. The contract term is 60 months or until the estimated amount is expended, at the County's discretion. Stock items must generally be delivered within 24 hours and non-stock items within three business days after receipt of a delivery order. Bidders must be authorized Ford Genuine Parts Certified Parts Wholesaling Dealers, distributors, or resellers, participate in the Ford Parts Online Catalog program, and provide required price-list documentation with the bid. The solicitation also requires a signed bid response, an electronic PDF copy, applicable certifications and affidavits, and specified small-business schedules when subcontractors are used.
