Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information to determine whether ETA Transit Systems' transit technology is available from multiple providers or whether a comparable alternative exists. The notice is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment and may lead to a sole-source or sole-brand designation. The specified solution includes a transit-grade onboard computing platform using a Vehicle Logic Unit, a fully cloud-based Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location system, and an integrated SPOT/Route Manager suite. Required capabilities include General Transit Feed Specification management, automated announcements, destination-sign control, Automatic Passenger Counting integration, and real-time vehicle tracking and data distribution. Vendors should submit information demonstrating their ability to meet or exceed these requirements, or documentation contesting the proposed designation, through the electronic bidding system.
