Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information to determine whether Autodesk AutoCAD software is available from multiple providers and whether comparable alternatives can meet the County's needs. This is a market-research request, not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. The requested software must support 2D drafting, text and dimensions, layer management, precise real-scale documentation and blueprints, 3D solids and surface meshes, realistic rendering, accurate lighting, AutoLISP, Smart Blocks, scripting and automation, Autodesk Assistant, Markup Assist, PDF-based layout updates, Trace Layer, cloud storage, web and mobile access, and cross-platform co-authoring without changing original DWG files. Vendors must complete the RFI questionnaire, identify the proposed product or service, manufacturer or developer, and vendor role, address each differentiating requirement, and explain any exceptions or material differences. Supporting documentation may also be uploaded.
