Description
Stanford University is soliciting a contractor to provide stormwater discharge management, environmental pollution prevention, and waste management services. The scope includes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for stormwater and wastewater discharges, hazardous material handling, spill prevention, erosion and sediment control, and training. Specific activities include dewatering operations, paving, saw cutting, concrete waste management, painting cleanup, and surface cleaning. The contractor must implement best management practices (BMPs) per California Stormwater Quality Association guidelines and maintain a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for construction sites over one acre. Additional requirements apply for work at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, including training, badging, and radiation protection coordination.
