Description
Alameda County is soliciting recruitment and staffing services for permanent and temporary placements of California-licensed clinical psychologists within its Behavioral Health Department's Forensic, Diversion, and Re-entry System of Care. Psychologists will support county-operated jail and forensic behavioral health programs through mental health screening, clinical and risk assessments, crisis intervention and stabilization, diagnosis and treatment planning, counseling, case management, care coordination, re-entry planning, documentation, and supervision of interns or associates. Services may be required during standard business hours, extended hours, weekends, or continuously on a 24/7 basis. The contractor must recruit, screen, credential, and place qualified psychologists; verify licenses and credentials; support staffing requests and candidate submissions; and provide timely staffing for high-demand assignments. The County intends to establish a three-year contract with an option to renew for two additional years and may award contracts to a pool of up to 15 contractors. For each staffing request, the County may solicit one or more candidates from selected contractors and may bypass secondary competition when operational urgency, continuity of care, or unique qualifications warrants it. Awards will consider candidate qualifications, relevant experience, availability, proposed bill rates, prior performance, responsiveness, and operational needs.
