Description
The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is soliciting an all-or-none bid for janitorial and cleaning supplies, including cleaning chemicals, hand soap and sanitizers, paper and plastic products, toilet tissue, towels, feminine-hygiene products, dispensers, mops, buckets, brooms, brushes, floor pads, gloves, trash bags, and related sundries. Products listed in the revised Bid Form 1-B are brand name or equal, and bidders must provide pricing for the base year and option years, including product details, units, case quantities, and dilution ratios where applicable. The agency orders cleaning products only; there is no site visit. Deliveries are to occur weekly, and quantities are estimates that include emergency coverage. Approved substitute products may require agency approval and Safety Data Sheets for new chemicals. The contract includes a guaranteed minimum compensation of $100,000 and a maximum term of seven years. The bid requires either certified SBE participation meeting the 17.72% contract goal or the required Good Faith Effort documentation. The current supplier is identified as Grainger. The revised bid due date is October 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
