Description
The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking pre-qualification submissions from prime contractors for the US 101 Express Lanes Phase 5 project. The work will convert existing High Occupancy Vehicle lanes to express lanes, also known as High Occupancy Toll lanes, and construct a second express lane to create a dual express-lane system along US 101 from the US 101/SR 237 interchange in Sunnyvale to the Taylor Road Interchange in San Jose. The prime contractor must possess California-issued Class A (General Engineering Contractor), C-8, C-10, and HAZ (Hazardous Substance Removal Certification) licenses, either directly or through subcontractors of any tier. Bidders must be pre-qualified before bidding on the subsequent invitation for bids. The response must include the pre-qualification documents and required forms and documents identified in the attached pre-qualification package.
