Description
The City of Centerville is requesting proposals from experienced firms to develop construction plans and specifications for reconstructing three existing traffic signals on State Route 48 at North Village Drive, Loop Road, and Williamsburg Lane. The scope includes mast-arm signal designs, traffic-count analysis, signal-timing plans, evaluation of warranted left-turn movements, coordination with other signals on the route, and compliance with traffic signal, ADA, PROWAG, ODOT, and local standards. The consultant must also evaluate whether to include Zengel Drive in one signal rebuild. The work includes right-of-way sheets and record plats for four property locations, with the City acquiring the required property. Plans are to be developed separately so the projects can be bid independently. Proposals must describe the firm's experience, project approach, team and subconsultants, workload and availability, schedule, hours by task, estimated total agreement cost, and at least five similar references completed within the last ten years. The proposal is limited to ten pages, excluding the cover letter, tabs, and appendices, and the project approach is limited to two pages. The estimated construction cost is $600,000 per location.
