Description
The City of Austin is requesting Statements of Qualifications for a 2026 Structural Engineering Services Rotation List. The City anticipates selecting approximately eight firms under professional services agreements with a combined estimated authorization amount not to exceed $6,800,000. Assignments may include structural evaluations, condition reports, structural design, foundation and retaining-wall design, facility renovations, plan reviews, cost estimating, permitting, bid support, construction administration, submittal and change review, punch-list and closeout support, record drawings, and warranty review. The response must address the required evaluation considerations, including team structure and approach, project manager and project principal experience, comparable project experience, experience with Austin issues, and major-scope experience in structural, architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering. The prime firm must perform the plurality of services, and all prime firms and subconsultants must be registered with the City before award. An MBE/WBE Compliance Plan is required, with applicable good-faith-effort documentation and subconsultant materials. Responses must be submitted electronically through Austin Finance Online.
