Description
The City of McRae-Helena is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to provide planning, funding assistance, preliminary and final design, engineering plans and specifications, cost estimates, permitting support, and bid and contract document preparation for water, wastewater, transportation, and environmental projects. The selected firm will also support advertising and bidding procedures, bidders conferences, bid openings, and evaluations. The scope includes post-award and construction services, including construction supervision and administration, review of payment requests and change orders, coordination with the construction firm, at least weekly construction reviews during regular working hours, project closeout, final inspection, project certification, and coordination with the City. Proposals must address firm and personnel experience, relevant state- and federally funded projects, references, project approach, key personnel, cost schedules, reimbursable expenses, a professional services contract, implementation timelines, investigation authorization, and the firm's ability to provide services to the community for five years. Past performance may be evaluated for timeliness and completion within budget.
