Description
The City of Austin is requesting statements of qualifications from firms to establish a rotation list for structural engineering services. The City anticipates selecting approximately eight firms under professional services agreements with a combined estimated authorization amount not to exceed $6,800,000. Assignments may involve structural evaluations, condition reports, structural design, foundations, retaining walls, building renovations, bridge and facility projects, plan reviews, cost estimating, permitting, bid support, construction administration, submittal and pay-application reviews, punch-list work, closeout, and record drawings. The response must address team structure and project approach, key personnel, comparable project experience, Austin-area experience, and the listed major scopes: structural, architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering. The solicitation requires electronic submission through Austin Finance Online, Form 1 and other specified response forms, an MBE/WBE compliance plan, and applicable supporting documentation. The prime firm must perform the plurality of services, and the Project Manager must be a Texas-licensed professional engineer.
