Description
The City of Austin is seeking approximately eight firms for a professional services rotation list supporting structural engineering projects for various City departments. Services may include structural evaluations, condition reports, structural design, foundation and retaining-wall design, building-plan review, permitting support, bid-document preparation, cost estimating, construction-phase services, submittal and change review, punch-list and closeout support, and post-construction documentation. Major scopes include structural, architectural, civil, electrical, geotechnical, and mechanical engineering, with all major scopes represented in the prime firm's statement of qualifications. The City anticipates developing a professional services agreement with each selected firm and estimates total authorization of $6,800,000 across approximately eight firms. Assignments will be issued through a rotation process after contract execution and formal notice to proceed; individual assignment compensation will vary. Responses must address team structure, project approach, key personnel experience, comparable project experience, major-scope experience, Austin-area experience, and prior City of Austin experience, and must include the required City forms and MBE/WBE procurement-program materials.
