Description
The City of Austin is requesting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms for a 2026 Structural Engineering Services Rotation List. The City anticipates selecting approximately eight firms under separate professional services agreements, with assignments issued through a rotation process after contract execution and formal Notices to Proceed. The estimated total authorization for the rotation list is $6,800,000, with individual assignment compensation varying by scope. Potential services include structural evaluations, condition reports, structural design, adequacy assessments, foundations, retaining walls, renovation projects, plan reviews, cost estimating, construction documents, bid and proposal support, construction-phase administration, submittal and pay-application review, punch-list and closeout support, and post-construction documentation. Major scopes requiring team representation include structural engineering, architectural services, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and geotechnical-soils services. Responses must address the evaluation criteria, submit the required City forms and MBE/WBE compliance materials, and demonstrate comparable project experience and qualified key personnel.
