Description
The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting market research for an independent laboratory to prepare a protocol and perform a GLP-compliant analytical method validation study using an HPLC-DAD instrument method. The initial work includes validation by a single analyst and creation of separate calibration curves for antimycin A homologs A1, A2, A3, and A4, using standards prepared three times. If the initial work is successful, an option may cover validation and application of the method to quantify antimycin A homologs and total antimycin in four sample types: end-of-fermentation brine, extracted or purified antimycin, liquid antimycin formulation, and antimycin in water. The government will provide sample materials, processing protocols, SPE cartridges, and cleanup kits. Respondents must provide organizational and staff capability information, supporting documentation, and details of any anticipated subcontracting or teaming arrangements, along with information addressing project management, scheduling, cost containment, performance tracking, personnel, and risk mitigation.
