Description
Foothills Regional Housing, the Jefferson County Housing Authority, is seeking a broker to manage its insurance policies and provide ongoing advisory and service support. The requested scope includes selecting carriers and obtaining favorable terms for property, liability, cyber, excess auto, excess liability, pollution, aviation, flood, auto, and crime coverages; developing or supporting policy solicitations; submitting to insurance markets; facilitating bidding; comparing quotes; and making recommendations. The broker will also provide ongoing insurance expertise, renewal review and negotiation, assistance with plan document reviews, escalated claims and service issues, support for audits and new property acquisitions, and periodic stewardship reviews. Proposals will be evaluated on fees, relevant experience, and the proposed process from implementation through ongoing management. The contract may be negotiated for a period not to exceed five years. Licenses, proof of insurance, and a W-9 are required prior to award, not with the proposal.
