Chesterfield County and Chesterfield County Public Schools seek qualified firms to provide engineering-geotechnical, soils, concrete, masonry, pavement, wood, structural steel, environmental, welding, ground-penetrating radar, foundation, geothermal, and related inspection, testing, reporting, and consulting services. Work may include field inspections, soil borings and laboratory testing, concrete and masonry testing, structural steel and fireproofing inspections, nondestructive testing, environmental studies, special inspections, complex geotechnical engineering, and recommendations for foundations, grading, pavements, floor slabs, earthwork, and construction conditions. The County intends to establish contracts with multiple firms, with individual project assignments negotiated on an as-needed basis. Offerors must demonstrate relevant qualifications, staffing capacity, project-management capability, quality-management practices, experience with similar governmental work, and the ability to provide at least five similar-project references. The initial contract term is one year with three successive one-year renewal options.
