Description

Stanislaus County Public Works is soliciting statements of qualifications from consultants to provide on-call materials testing and quality control inspection for federal and non-federal construction and design projects. Services include on-site testing and inspection, laboratory testing, existing pavement analysis, pavement coring, R-value testing, pavement section design recommendations, striping retro-reflectivity testing, and deflectometer testing. Work must follow the County's Quality Assurance Program and applicable ASTM, Caltrans, and other recognized testing standards, under the responsible charge of a qualified California-licensed civil or geotechnical engineer. The solicitation will establish an on-call list and master agreements for up to three qualified consultants. The agreement term is three years, with two possible one-year extensions, and the aggregate master-agreement amount will not exceed $600,000; each selected consultant's initial contract amount is limited to $199,000. The response must include qualifications, relevant experience, key personnel qualifications, organization chart, resumes, scope of services, and a separate fee schedule. Three sealed hard copies and one electronic PDF copy on a USB flash drive are required; fee documents must be in a separate sealed envelope.
