Description
The National Institutes of Health intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis for specialized clinical laboratory testing services. The required scope combines specialized testing capabilities, established diagnostic methodologies, expert clinical interpretation, consultation, and coordinated follow-up testing as an integrated service. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive quotations. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating that they can provide an equivalent system and satisfy the Government's minimum technical requirements. The notice identifies Mayo Collaborative Services Inc. as the intended awardee under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, based on the stated determination that no other commercially available system provides the required combination of capabilities.
