Description
Broome County Health Department is soliciting proposals from New York State ELAP-certified laboratories to perform lead analysis by flame atomic absorption of dust-wipe and soil samples collected and shipped by the department. The selected laboratory must meet EPA minimum reporting limits for dust-lead action levels and accommodate approximately 34,000 samples per calendar year. Proposals must address same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, and after-hours Saturday analysis capabilities and pricing, as well as shipping costs, overnight shipping, and any supplies provided to the department. The work is remote. The contract is intended to run for two years, with one optional three-year renewal term. Required submission materials include the proposal sheet, compliance statement, variation and justification sheet, non-collusive bidding certificate, Iranian energy divestment certification, Election Law statement, Gifts statement, insurance acknowledgment, W-9, respondent checklist, and a redacted proposal copy.
