Description
The City and County of Denver, through Denver Human Rights and Community Partnerships, is seeking a qualified 501(c)(3) community foundation to administer and manage the Denver Immigrant Legal Services Fund. Responsibilities include equitable fund distribution, grant application and award administration, advisory committee coordination, grant recipient monitoring, financial stewardship, data collection, reporting, capacity building, technical assistance, and language access coordination. The selected contractor will distribute nearly all available funding, apart from the administration fee, to qualified nonprofit legal service providers, law school clinics, pro bono partners, and other eligible organizations delivering direct immigration legal services. Funded services may include removal defense, bond hearings, immigration court matters, affirmative relief applications, legal screening, consultation, representation, and capacity-building for pro bono and low-bono immigration services. The total available amount is up to $2,250,000 over the initial three-year term, with a proposed budget and budget narrative required. Proposals must include the specified organizational, technical, personnel, budget, disclosure, financial, reference, insurance, and diversity and inclusiveness materials.
