Description
The United States Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service, Plant Science Research Unit, requires AVITI next-generation sequencing of wheat DNA libraries. The resulting genomic data will support the unit's ongoing genetic investigation of complex plant traits. The solicitation is classified under testing laboratories and services and is set aside for small businesses. Existing requirements include library quality control, paired-end and single-end sequencing, data processing, and electronic delivery of FASTQ files, FastQC reports, and flow-cell reports. The contract period is October 5, 2026, through October 4, 2027, with quotations evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis.
