The State of Colorado, acting through the Department of Natural Resources' Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, is soliciting a documented quotation for safeguarding and revegetating 34 hazardous mine features. The work includes 22 machine-backfill closures, one corrugated-steel-pipe closure with bat grate, seven bat-grate closures, one shaft grate, one rock bulkhead, and two exclusion fences, along with mobilization and demobilization, project safety and environmental planning, sediment and erosion control, clearing, debris removal, imported rock fill, and related reclamation activities. Several locations require limited machine access, steep-slope travel, climbing, and long off-road or trail access.
