Description
Boulder County Office of Financial Management seeks a qualified, independent Certified Public Accounting firm to conduct annual financial audits for the County, its component units, and relevant departmental entities. The selected firm will perform the County’s annual Single Audit for fiscal years 2026 through 2030 in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Government Auditing Standards, the Federal Single Audit Act, and OMB Uniform Guidance. The scope includes independent audits and professional reviews of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards, and Federal Highway Administration Local Highway Finance Report. The firm will also provide consultation and recommendations to strengthen financial reporting processes and maintain compliance. Boulder County Housing Authority and its component units are excluded because they are audited under a separate contract. Required submission materials include the provided Schedule of Fees and Expenses, prior-engagement information, W-9, Vendor Information Form, and Certificate of Insurance; a Certificate of Good Standing is optional, and contract-change redlines are optional if applicable.
