Description
The University of Central Arkansas is soliciting an on-call mitigation-services contractor for its campus and properties. The contractor must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provide appropriate emergency remediation services within one hour of an emergency call. The scope includes water and wastewater extraction; structural and floor drying; sewage cleanup and remediation; dehumidification; floor, carpet, and rug cleaning, disinfection, and sanitization; contents manipulation, removal, inventory, packing, and temporary storage; contents drying and treatment; mold remediation; odor removal; and antimicrobial treatment. Proposals must describe the vendor’s equipment, staffing, qualifications, certifications, experience, project-management approach, response resources, labor rules, comparable projects, references, key personnel, subcontractors, service plans, and pricing. The technical/business proposal must be submitted separately from the cost proposal, and the cost proposal must use the Official Pricing Sheet and be sealed separately. The initial contract term is three years, with extensions by mutual agreement for up to seven additional years.
