Description
The Twentieth Judicial District Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement Board is making approximately $385,000 available for the 2027 grant cycle, which runs from January 1 through December 31, 2027. Eligible applicants may request funding for victim and witness assistance services, direct services to crime victims, eligible law enforcement programs, equipment, personnel salaries and benefits for direct-service staff, and other needs that enhance services to victims of crime in Boulder County. Routine and ongoing operating expenses are not eligible. Priority will be given to programs required to implement Colorado victim-rights provisions, programs providing direct or innovative services to victims, services for previously underserved populations, and proposals that demonstrate effective responses to victim needs without duplicating existing services. Applications must include a written acknowledgment that the applicant understands applicable victim rights and services statutes, along with required certifications concerning compliance with Colorado employment-eligibility requirements. The application must be submitted in hard copy and electronically as a PDF, and mandatory 15-minute oral presentations are scheduled for October 20, 2026.
