Description
The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a qualified contractor to provide snow removal and ice abatement services for campus roadways, parking lots, garages, driveways, sidewalks, steps, building entrances, accessible ramps, and landings. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, operators, materials, hauling, storage, disposal, inspection, reporting, and emergency-response services. Required capabilities include road graders, front-end loaders, plow trucks, skid loaders, dump trucks, sanders, supervisors, laborers, and ice-abatement materials. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 availability, respond to service requests or safety concerns within one hour, clear priority routes within one to four hours after snow events, maintain detailed service and material logs, submit inspection reports, and support monthly operational reviews. The technical proposal must address corporate history, personnel, equipment, communications, staffing, service approach, quality control, snow hauling and disposal, and invoicing. The contract has a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year renewal periods.
