Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking, on a sole-source basis, esoteric STAT testing services for Pathology and Laboratory Service at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. Required testing includes anatomic pathology, chemistry, molecular biology, coagulation, hematology, and time-sensitive STAT testing for specimens that cannot be transported long distances and completed within one hour of collection, including testing needed during instrument failure. The notice describes a base year with four one-year option years and states that the period of performance begins October 1, 2026. Any response must provide clear and convincing evidence, including pricing, that competition would benefit the Government and demonstrate full compliance with VHA Directive 1101.13(1), Appendix B. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation.
