Description

Indianapolis Public Schools is soliciting proposals for network electronics and related services to upgrade wireless capacity throughout the district. The estimated requirements include approximately 5 routers, 250 switches, 540 wireless access points, 1 wireless controller, 2 firewalls, and 450 antennas, connectors, and related components, together with associated software, licenses, cables, modules, transceivers, cords, mounting hardware, maintenance, and managed broadband services. Proposed products should be Commscope Ruckus or equivalent and must integrate with existing Ruckus and Cisco infrastructure. Respondents must provide itemized pricing identifying eligible and ineligible E-Rate costs, manufacturer and part number information, technical architecture, support, implementation, contractual terms, and references. The scope includes firewall high availability, SD-WAN, security, logging, filtering, and high-throughput requirements. Equipment delivery and installation/testing are anticipated during the contract period, with operational completion targeted for June 15, 2027. A 10% performance bond is required for the five-year term, and its cost must be separately identified as E-Rate-ineligible.
