Description
The City of Indianapolis, through its Department of Metropolitan Development, is establishing an on-call contractor pool for multiple single-family homeowner repair projects funded by Community Development Block Grant and City funds. Contractors may qualify for one or more trades, including general contracting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, lead-based paint testing and removal, asbestos removal, radon testing and mitigation, and mold remediation. Eligible work may include structural repairs, critical systems, flooring, doors and windows, accessibility improvements, sidewalks and site work, waste removal, energy-efficiency improvements, and other repairs needed to meet housing quality, safety, code, resilience, and environmental standards. Individual projects will be assigned through project-specific scopes, quotes, and notices to proceed. The agreement is for 18 months and may be renewed for up to an additional 18 months; no minimum quantity or guaranteed dollar value is stated. Subcontracting is permitted subject to City requirements, and contractors must maintain applicable licenses, bonding, insurance, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
