Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation (IPTC) Request for Proposal RFP 26-05-586 Security Services Summary: IPTC is requesting proposals from qualified security firms to provide mobile, front-office, fare inspection, and walking patrol services across the IPTC service area. IPTC's properties requiring security coverage are: A. West Campus – 1501 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN B. Julia M. Carson Customer Transit Center (CTC) – 201 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN C. East Campus – 9503 E. 33rd Street, Indianapolis, IN D. West Michigan – 2425 W. Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN The West Campus, Julia M. Carson CTC, and East Campus require seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year. The West Michigan property requires variable coverage. Description
Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation is seeking qualified security firms to provide mobile security, front-office security, fare inspection, and walking patrol services across its service area. The scope includes unarmed Fare Inspection Officers to monitor fare compliance on the bus rapid transit system and Law Enforcement Officers to monitor BRT traffic lanes, platforms, the customer transit center, fixed-route bus routes, and bus stops. Continuous coverage seven days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year is required at the West Campus Administrative Building, Julia M. Carson Customer Transit Center, and East Campus Administrative Building. Variable coverage is required at the West Michigan Building. Services also cover Mobility Services, approximately 2,350 passenger bus stops, BRT platforms, Superstop platforms, and the transit fleet. Required submission items include a Letter of Interest, IPTC Certifications, Acknowledgement of Addenda, Proposal Offer Cost Form, Certificate of Insurance, Financial Statements, Qualifications and Experience, and Project Approach.
