Description
The Indianapolis Public Library is soliciting bids for the Central Library Server Room Fire Protection Project. The work includes demolishing a portion of the existing water-based fire protection system and installing a new clean-agent fire protection system in the Central Library main server room, with installation targeted for late fourth quarter 2026 or first quarter 2027. Bidders must obtain complete bidding documents, including drawings, the project manual, and addenda. The project includes minority-, women-, veteran-, and disability-owned business utilization goals of 15%, 8%, 3%, and 1%, respectively; vendors unable to meet the goals must document outreach and good-faith subcontracting efforts. The library intends to enter into an agreement with one or more vendors.
