Description
Shared Health Manitoba is requesting proposals for a minimum of two new, fully automated sample-to-result molecular analyzers for detecting bacterial and viral enteric pathogens at Cadham Provincial Laboratory. The mandatory test menu includes primary and secondary bacterial enteric combination assays, Clostridioides difficile toxin B, and viral enteric pathogens including norovirus, rotavirus, adenovirus, sapovirus, and human astrovirus. Optional capabilities include parasitic pathogen testing and antibiotic-resistance gene detection. The proposed solution must include compatible analyzers, UPS equipment, computers, printers, peripherals, software and licenses, all required reagents, consumables, calibrators, quality-control materials, and calibration-verification materials. The system must interface with the laboratory information system through Data Innovations Instrument Manager and support Health Canada-approved clinical results. The supplier will retain ownership and responsibility for maintenance and service under a reagent-lease arrangement, provide training for at least five key operators, and support delivery, installation, documentation, upgrades, and comprehensive service maintenance. Proponents must submit pricing, assay specifications, Health Canada licence information, references, and completed Bonfire questionnaires and forms.
