Description
The University of Connecticut is seeking one or more qualified laboratory supply distributors to provide chemicals, labware, basic laboratory equipment, and related services for teaching and research laboratories at its main campus, regional campuses, UConn Health, and extension offices throughout Connecticut. The scope excludes products not specifically designed for laboratory use and compressed gases. The University may make prime, non-prime, or alternative-model awards, including single or multiple awards. Proposals must address product breadth, customer and technical support, electronic ordering through the Jaggaer/HuskyBuy platform with Level 2 punchout, cXML ordering and invoicing, logistics and fulfillment, delivery, pricing, category discounts, value-added services, references, and required state forms. The solicitation identifies approximately $3 million in annual laboratory-supply spending across roughly 5,000 transactions, but does not guarantee any purchase volume. The initial contract term is five years, with options to extend for up to five additional years, for a potential total term of ten years.
