South Central Regional Mental Health Hospital is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive clinical laboratory services for routine, STAT, specialty, and referral testing of human specimens. The scope includes specimen processing and testing, result reporting, critical-value notification and escalation, referral laboratory coordination, daily courier pickup and transport, specimen collection and transport supplies, a current test directory and interpretive guide, quality assurance support, and 24/7 technical and operational support. The contractor must provide and support a bidirectional HL7 interface or equivalent electronic results exchange, a secure electronic results portal, implementation and go-live support, downtime procedures, staff training, performance reporting, invoicing, and escalation processes. Required proposal materials include CLIA certification and accreditation information, referral laboratory and test turnaround-time information, courier and implementation plans, interface specifications, critical-value procedures, supply and training plans, support and escalation information, sample KPI reports and invoices, privacy and security safeguards, and a complete cost sheet covering the testing catalog and pricing.
