Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide sterile processing water testing services for the North Texas Veterans Healthcare System. The scope includes monthly and quarterly testing of utility water, critical water, and steam in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023, including sample collection, sterile containers, chain-of-custody handling, laboratory analysis, retesting, and consolidated reporting. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, a qualified laboratory, calibrated and validated equipment, sampling supplies, shipping, applicable licenses and permits, and timely notification of results exceeding specified thresholds. Services will cover the Dallas VA Medical Center and Fort Worth VA Clinic, with recurring testing at designated points of generation and use, plus emergency and repeat testing as required. The contract includes a one-year base period and four option years. Offerors must submit separate technical, price, and redacted technical volumes, including a technical approach and methodology, price schedule, signed solicitation and required representations, and prime-contractor past-performance information. The opportunity is restricted to certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
