Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to procure Cepheid GeneXpert testing supplies for six VA medical centers in West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. The procurement is unrestricted and is classified under Product Service Code 6550, In Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets, and NAICS 325413, In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. The anticipated contract is a single-award, firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The government expects to issue firm-fixed-price delivery orders for each supported facility as funding becomes available. A statement of work will be included in the subsequent formal solicitation.
