Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking a sole-source contractor to repair, overhaul, upgrade, test, inspect, and return four RLG0107-01 solid-state lasers (NSN 5860-01-456-5831) to Ready for Issue condition. The contractor must provide the required facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, testing equipment, repair procedures, and enclosed warehouse storage unless Government Furnished Material is specifically identified. Repairs must follow approved manuals, technical specifications, engineering orders, and drawings, with Government approval required for deviations and changes to repair sources or facilities. The work includes component repair and replacement, reassembly, inspection, testing, configuration management, process-control documentation, packaging under MIL-STD-2073, and handling of Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, and Over and Above Repair conditions. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100-compliant quality system and an acceptable calibration program.
