Description
The California Exposition & State Fair is soliciting bids for rental, installation, maintenance, and operation of audio systems and theatrical lighting for the central, promenade, and multiple other entertainment stages at the 2027 California State Fair. The scope includes stage sound systems, consoles, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, cabling, power distribution, rigging, lighting trees, control boards, dimmers, replacement lamps, and related equipment. The contractor must provide qualified technicians for stage operation, mixing, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, load-in, load-out, and on-call support. Bid prices must include rental fees, labor, maintenance, and repairs. The bid must include a complete equipment list and installation approach. The agreement term is September 1, 2027, through October 31, 2030, with services centered on the 2027 fair, scheduled for September 17 through October 3, 2027. Three similar references from the previous five years and specified certification and cost forms are required.
