Description
The City of Sacramento is soliciting bids for a two-year contract to maintain eight Railyards-area streetscape sites, including 5th Street, 6th Street, G Street, Railyards Boulevard, West End Tunnel, Bercut-Summit Tunnel, Lot 48, and Telegrapher/Stevens Street. Services include scheduled landscape maintenance, pruning, fertilization, mowing where applicable, ground-cover care, litter and trash removal, weed abatement, mulch and debris management, dog-feces removal, and maintenance of Filterra tree-well systems. The contractor must monitor, test, adjust, repair, and provide emergency response for irrigation systems, including CalSense controllers. Work must comply with traffic-control, public-safety, water-quality, pesticide, and sustainability requirements. The contractor must hold the specified California landscape, pesticide, agricultural pest-control, and local business licenses and submit five commercial or governmental references. The contract amount is not to exceed $249,999, and the solicitation requires electronic submission through the City's bid portal or, alternatively, a sealed hard-copy bid.
