Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for weekly protective clothing and operational supply rental services for its Capistrano Area Office. The scope includes furnishing, laundering, sanitizing, repairing, replacing, resizing, picking up, and delivering shop jackets, short- and long-sleeve uniform shirts, trousers, coveralls, slip-resistant mats, automotive-shop rags, and terry-cloth towels. The contractor must provide initial uniform setup, employee measurements, name tags, CHP logos, containers for soiled items, weekly service, inventory inspections, and replacement of items damaged through normal wear and tear at no additional cost. The agreement is anticipated to run from November 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, or until approvals are obtained, with quantities subject to operational needs and no guaranteed minimum purchase. Bids will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, although eligible DVBE participation may qualify for an incentive. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, certifications, references, business documentation, and applicable licenses, and must provide proof of insurance before agreement execution.
