Description
SHARP LLC is soliciting bids for flooring removal and replacement at Sierra Vista Apartments, 2300 K Street, and Sutterview Apartments, 2526 L Street, in Sacramento. Contractors may bid on either property or both. The work includes removing existing vinyl plank flooring and carpet tiles, hauling and legally disposing of debris, cleaning and leveling substrates, addressing substrate issues, and installing Mohawk Dealer Solutions III luxury vinyl plank flooring in Caramel with continuous 6-inch brown cove base. Contractors must also provide adhesives, primers, transitions, equipment, containment, protection, cleanup, and attic stock materials. The properties are occupied residential communities, so the contractor must minimize disruption, maintain clear egress, comply with applicable flooring and safety standards, and perform work during permitted operating hours. A current California C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor license, required insurance, and attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk are required. All work, inspections, acceptance, and final invoicing must be completed by December 31, 2026. Subcontracting is generally prohibited except for minor incidental work approved by the agency.
